  1. From these 4 I like C best because it hides the awfull bright light underneath (hurts my eyes) but it lacks some other colors like the yellow on the others and it lacks some text. No underlinings like in A! Very difficult choise :)

    Good luck,

  3. Cover C, but perhaps raise the title up a little and add the Turner comment in the bottom left corner.

  4. C for me too, but I like your name in yellow better :)

    Warmly,
    Jenny:)

  5. I gotta go with B
Although I might nix the blurb.

  6. It's fine Nick, I'm glad to get different opinions. Great suggestions have been made. I'm glad Jenny likes my name in yellow.

  7. I like C, as well, but I agree with moving the title up a little and having comment at bottom left just above your name in yellow. :)

  8. Hey – I left a comment. It was the one on C, but raising the title and adding the blurb. The colors aren’t all right though. Think of a color wheel; you need colors that all flow together, but I do like the color of the title. Why don’t you wander Borders tomorrow and look at book covers? Many do include blurbs on the front and they are an asset if they are from a well-known author. Hope you are doing well. I am underground with much work and three major examinations before the end of the month. Suz~

  9. Via email I got two more votes, Norm says A and and another Book Guru says C. C is in the lead.
Personally I like A best. Keep voting.

  10. I say C is the best, but I'd keep the fonts and flip the text so that the title appears closer to the top and the by line below. Ideal I would have the L at the end of the word normal centered just above the young man's shoulder.

  11. Martin, I think the photo background is perfect for your cover. I am not a fan of shading on fonts for book covers and I think your name and other text may look better behind blocks of solid color. If you have a maroon block at the top and the bottom of the cover for your name and Turner's blurb, then it may look more cohesive. I love the placement of the title on "C" and I agree it could be moved up a bit. I will send you a pic of what I mean. I will modify one of the images to show you - then you can take it or leave it as you wish. Thanks for letting us vote and offer suggestions. I cannot wait to read the complete book!

  13. Martin - Here is a link to the suggestions I made (just copy and paste this link into your browser). FYI - I don't have the same fonts you used so I used Trebuchet for your name and the text and I used LamboHMK-Bold for the title.

  15. Wow, that does look very good. Suz~

  16. I'd still give the guy in the picture just a little (mere wee bit) more head room for effect. Otherwise, choice A now looks now like a winner. Suz!

  17. Logan- I like C. i Definitely think that it creates the biggest statement. I like D as well... it just seems to fit very well.

I think that the picture without a letter next to it is the best though. It has the quote on the bottom and the title in the middle and your name on the top.

  18. Gave the boy in the photo more headroom. Suz was right. It needed it. :)
