    What a horrible evening, Martin. I'm so sorry for your and Dean. These things are so hard. My great grandmother died in Texas the same day my brother was killed in a traffic accident in Indiana. I live in WI, that was a tough day for many of us.

    I wish you and Dean all the comfort and emotional support in the whole world. Please take care of yourselves. Life is really so very precious, isn't it?

    Oh Martin, my heart breaks for you and Dean, and Heather as well. My Gramma died in a nursing home in FL and I was not there and I live with that every day.

    The thing is to try and remember all the good times and all the things you loved about her. Tell Dean I said that, too. He'll understand.

    I remember how my Gramma used to always be the one who cheered me up when I messed up or felt bad. She was a kicker, for sure. We had our private little secrets and I loved her for that.

    I am sending hugs to you, Dean, and Heather.
